Hardware Requirements

Please note that the hardware requirements below are merely suggestions, actual requirements will vary depending on your use of the software and the number of images you're trying to open. When choosing your hardware, it should be noted that memory (RAM) and graphic adapters are the two key components: more memory and better graphic cards will always result in better performance.

Minimum hardware requirements for the ORS Visual platform:

Pentium 4, 1.2 GHz or AMD 1200+ CPU
512 MB of RAM
120 MB of Hard Disk space
Graphic boards supporting Pixel Shader v2.0 and above
Monitor with minimum resolution of 1280 x 1024

Recommended hardware requirements:

Pentium 4, 2.4 GHz and above, or AMD 2400+ and above CPU, dual or quad core
2 GB of RAM
120 MB of Hard Disk space
Graphic boards supporting Pixel Shader v2.0 and above, with at least 1 GB of RAM

Supported operating systems:

Windows XP 32 and 64 bit (Home or Professional Edition)
Windows Vista, 32 and 64 bits
Windows 7, 32 and 64 bits
Windows Server 2003, 2008r2
