Mark Mailloux, Interim Operations Officer
Mark A. Mailloux, a Senior Executive in General Management, Sales & Marketing and Leadership positions of MedTech/ Life Science companies, with over 26 years of industry successes in: start-up, commercialization, change-management, privately held and Multi-National medical device, pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies in Canada and the United States. A medical device industry 'visionary' with a diversified portfolio of experience including: quantifiable & sustained results in growth, profitability, and marketing. Recognized globally with prestigious National and International awards for leadership, and innovative marketing strategies. An organizational builder with an acute sense of identifying opportunities, developing strong partnerships and delivering value. Mark is also a 2-time medical device industry board member.
Nicolas Piché, M.Sc, CSO
Mr. Piché, holder of a master’s degree in physics, has worked in software development for more than twenty years. After having developed enterprise simulator software for Interfacing Technologies, as well as a software platform for a division of Kodak, he then joined Proxima Systems Ltd as a senior developer, where he assumed heavy responsibilities in the department of software infrastructures. His career then led to Zurich in Switzerland, where he supervised the daily operations of the filing system at UBS.
Normand Mongeau, Production VP
Mr. Mongeau has worked in software development since 1986. He took part in several large projects with many of them still in operation today. At Epix Inc., he was lead developer and support manager for the SAGE software (preventive maintenance application), with installations in more than 200 sites. At LGS, he was an active member of the team who developed an application to read Hydro–Quebec meters. In 1992 he focused on object–oriented programming, which brought him in 1996 at Proxima Systems Ltd, where he took part in developing the Mystral application. In no time he became Chief architect of the application, for which he supervised the infrastructure.
Eric Fournier, M.Sc, CTO, Executive VP
Mr. Fournier holds a master’s degree in fluids dynamic simulation. He created several applications for fluid simulation and scientific visualization. He developed several 3D engines and visualization tools. He supervised the development of a commercial physics engine and an artificial intelligence module based on neural networks. In 2000, he founded a PC game company that was nominated for the best technological innovation at the MIM 2001.
Thierry Côté, B.Sc, Senior Software Developer
Holding a bachelor Degree in Mathematics from the Université de Sherbrooke, Mr. Coté has been involved in software development since the young age of 12. His previous employers include the Caisses Populaires Desjardins, Interfacing Technologies and Proxima Systems Ltd. He also worked on 3D engines and familiarized himself with low level programming, including GPUs.
Jean Fournier, CMA, Comptroller
Mr. Fournier brings over 25 years of experience in the industry and the public sector. He has been involved in the accounting for manufacturing industries, as well as corporate taxation and commodity taxes. Active participant in various tax committees, he is the former President of the Montréal Chapter of the Tax Executive Institute (TEI).
Benjamin Provencher, M.Sc, Senior Software Developer
Mr. Provencher holds a master's degree in bioinformatics from Université de Montréal. During his graduate studies, he has focused on de novo identification of repeat sequence in genomic data. Upon completing his degree, Mr. Provencher worked for the National Research Council of Canada where he developed ORSVisual third-party plug-ins.
