Carotid plaques were segmented on US images and elastograms were computed with NIVE applied on RF images to generate axial and lateral strain and shear maps. A prototype imaging platform has been developed in partnership with the Montreal-based company Object Research System (ORS) Inc. to integrate segmentation and elastography methods onto the ORS Visual imaging platform.
SSE time varying curves were also created and examined with the ORS Visual imaging platform.
