Overlays
Image and text overlays can be added to 2D and 3D scene views to illustrate findings with text, graphs, screen captures, and other information. For example, you can display a corporate or institutional logo as an overlay over an animated sequence and annotate key frames with titles and captions that describe important transitions.
3D view with image and text overlays
Overlays, which are available on the Overlays panel shown below, can be included in animated sequences and screen captures and can be saved in a session or in the .ORSObject file format.

Adds a selected image to the current scene view, such as a company or institutional logo, graph, or image captured from Dragonfly (see Adding Image Overlays). Images can be resized and positioned as required, and opacity is adjustable. |

Adds a text overlay to the current scene view (see Adding Text Overlays). Text color, font face, size, and alignment are selectable and opacity is adjustable. Text overlays can be resized and positioned in a scene view as required.. |
Configured Actions for Overlays
A number of configured actions and keyboard shortcuts are available for editing overlays. The default settings for these actions are listed in the following table.
