Painting with the Path Tool

You use the Path tool to draw regions of interest that consist of single lines set at a specific diameter. The advantage of using this tool instead of working in Brush mode is the smooth curves that are created.

How to Paint with the Path Tool
  1. Select the required 2D view.
  2. Select Single slice or Multi-slice mode (see ROI Painter Panel and Tool Settings).

  3. Click the Path tool.
  4. If required, adjust the diameter of the line that will be converted to labeled pixels with the Pixels slider.

  5. Do the following:
    • Hold down Left Ctrl (or your configured Add with key) and then drag to draw the line you want to convert to a region of interest.
    • Hold down Left Shift (or your configured Remove with key) and then draw a line on the labeled pixels of a region of interest to remove them.

Note Refer to Configured Actions for the Path Tool for additional information about the configured actions for the Path tool.
